Sticky Mat

A sticky mat, often referred to as a tacky mat or a cleanroom mat, is an adhesive mat used at the entrances and exits of certain work areas to scrape dirt off the soles of shoes and wheeled carts like hand trucks. Construction sites and cleanrooms are the usual locations for sticky mat use. Their goal is to stop hazardous chemicals from leaving the site and pollutants from entering it with workers.
